Liverpool

Liverpool is seeing huge development activity as it approaches the 2008 Capital of Culture year. There seems to be relatively low exposure to the city centre and the suburban locations where investors have acquired property are holding up. Locations such as Warrington, Bolton, Preston and Carlisle are performing satisfactorily on the whole. In the East Midlands the picture is less healthy. Leicester is showing resilience in terms of value and rental levels.
