Pre-launch
A good way to secure an exceptional discount is by getting in ‘pre-launch’. This is usually reserved for the larger investors, and those buying several units at a time. They get a large discount, put down a smaller deposit and get to choose the units first. Developers typically do this to test the water price-wise.
To get in pre-launch, make sure you familiarize yourself with estate agents in the area. Some estate agents will have direct links with developers and will sell units prior to release to what are called ‘preferred’ buyers. Remember, you can still negotiate further if you get in at this early stage.
