Do I Need A Lawyer?

We strongly recommend instructing a lawyer when buying property in Spain. There are too many cases of illegal developments and frauds appearing in the Spanish and English press. You should never rely on the information and ‘due diligence’ provided by the estate agent who is selling the property. Always have the legal documentation checked by an independent lawyer who can provide advice to you in English. We recommend instructing a Spanish lawyer registered with The Law Society of England and Wales as a Registered European Lawyer.
